MODULE 1: FOCUS ON LOVE AND SEX – 14 CE Credits

Day One: The Sexual Persona —  The Life Force

. Release blocked energy from the pelvis.

. Learn techniques to heal sexual problems.

• Learn techniques to unify the heart and pelvis. Decrease negative beliefs about sex.

• Discover how to balance active and receptive sexual energies.

• Explore methods to enhance pleasure and joy in sexuality.

• Understand the connection between sexuality, physical health, mental health, and the life force.

• Connect and surrender to sexual feelings.

• Experience the relationship between sex and intimacy.

• Use fantasies and dreams to explore sex/love issues.

Day Two: The Rigid Personality — Perfection, Sexuality, Relationship Problems

• Focus upon the results and wounding of  parental sexual rejection.

• Learn methods to help clients unify the heart and the pelvis, and develop intimacy.

• Use tools to open the heart, enhance communications, and build trust.

• Help heal from affairs, deal with sexual disappointment, and handle anger.

• Use body readings to identify the rigid character structure

• Teach the rigid structure to surrender to his or her feelings.

Day Three: Full Day of Group Process and Group Supervision

MODULE 2: FOCUS ON THE FOUR STAGES OF THERAPY – 14 CE Credits

Friday Dec.  – Sunday Dec. (To Be Announced), 2018

Day One: Ego Functions: Creativity versus Negativity

• Identify the role of the ego in promoting growth and change.

• Differentiate between a healthy, disciplined ego and an unhealthy, unfocused ego.

• Engage in exercises that transform the negative ego.

• Learn how your creative ego helps you achieve life goals.

• Identify the ego in your body.

• Discuss misconceptions about the ego.

Day Two: The Four Stages of Core Energetics Therapy

• Learn how to work with a client from beginning to end, passing through each of the four stages of therapy.

• Participate in practice sessions: create a holding environment, confront the mask, release and transform the lower self, bask in universal love, discover your life path, and end the therapy.

• Learn how the results of childhood harm and abuse are transformed.

• Give permission for lower self expression. Help clients tolerate involuntary muscle movements and aggression motion.

• Experience self-responsibility, choice, creativity, truth, and higher consciousness within the higher self, using visualization, meditation, prayer, and ritual.

• Experience the natural progression from one stage to the next.

tree1MODULE 3: FOCUS ON BODY READINGS; STORIES BODIES TELL – 14 CE Credits

Friday Jan. – Sunday Jan, (To Be Announced) 2019

Day One: Core Energetic Body Readings

• Develop skill in core energetic body readings, so as to understand a person’s character, current behavior, and early wounding.

•Learn how nurture, nature, culture, energy, modeling, and unconscious processes shape bodies.

• Read the body’s energy flow, muscular blocks, posture, harmony, aura, chakras, and developmental stages. • Discover the frozen history in the body.

• Find out what the skin, fat, eyes, height, coloring, facial expression, and temperature reveal.

Day Two: Create a Treatment Plan

• Construct a treatment plan based on body reading findings.

•  Create safety and a plan for the work. Collaborate with the client.

• Review techniques to use with each of the five personality types.

• Review models for taking an initial history, assessing ego strength, and identifying current resources.

• Conduct an assessments and begin the therapy.

• Practice applying a plan designed for 2 different clients.

Day Three: Full Day of Group Process and Group Supervision

tree7MODULE 4: FOCUS ON GROUP PROCESS – 14 CE Credits

Friday April – Sunday April (To Be Announced), 2019

Day One: Transference and Group Therapy

• Learn how the therapist elicits transference in a group.

• Learn to work with transference using verbal and body therapy techniques.

• Explore maladaptive behaviors in a group (Examples: I am right, you are wrong; I am weak, take care of me).

• Learn about group leader countertransference (the manipulative therapist, the helpless therapist, the know-it-all therapist).

• Gain experience in group practice sessions.

• Discuss group methods, ethics, guidelines, and member selection.

Day Two: Core Energetics Group Process

• Build a healthy container and a memorable group experience.

• Read the group’s energy and increase the energy in a group when it is diminished.

• Experience a group mandala using unique energy techniques.

• Conduct the group in the here and now.

• Unearth relational dynamics between group members.

• Facilitate the individual process in a group.

• Integrate body, talk, and mindfulness practices.

• Help group members confront their masks and release and transform negative energy.

Day Three: Full Day of Group Process and Group Supervision

MODULE 5: FOCUS ON BODY CONSCIOUSNESS   – 14 CE Credits

Friday May  – Sunday May (To Be Announced)  2019

Day One: Body Consciousness and Epigenetics

• Experience the early movements of the developing child: cell vibration and breathing, navel radiation, sucking reflex, creeping and crawling.

• Learn healthy movements that underlie somatic interventions and restore integration.

• Discover how the skeletal system, bones, and joints relate to gravity, provide support and enhance movement.

• Understand the relationship between attachment theory and neuroscience.

• Explore the neurobiology of the heart and brain.

Day Two: Psychosomatics, Health, and Wellness

• Identify emotions that underlie specific illnesses.

• Learn the physiology of stress and its relationship to the mask and lower self.

• Review theories supporting a mind-body connection.

• Explore the cutting edge work of psycho-neuro-immunologists.

Day Three: Full Day of Group Process and Group Supervision

MODULE 6: FOCUS ON LEADERSHIP & LIFE PLAN- 14 CE credits

Friday June  – Sunday June (To Be Announced) , 2019

Your Leadership as a Core Energetics Practitioner/Therapist

• Step into your leadership.

• Focus on integrity, ethics, and responsibility.

• Explore the power differential in therapy.

• Claim your personal power and assertiveness as a leader.

• Identify images of authority that you hold and your beliefs about authority.

• Help patients experience their own authority and leadership.

• Lead from the heart and not from the will.

Your Life Plan

• Describe your experience of personal transformation during the training.

• Consider how your personal goals may have changed.

• Identify the spiritual principles that have guided your process.

• Specify your experience of divine will, transpersonal energies, and the higher power in your life.

• Share your life task as you understand it at this moment in time.

• Presentation of final projects and/or videos of work with a client.

GRADUATION

• Ceremony and presentation of individual projects to family and friends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Attendance and participation in discussions and experiential exercises is required.

• Absences excused by the director and made up at a later time.

• Homework handed in or emailed to the instructor prior to the training weekend.

• Trainees keep a journal during or following each training weekend sharing personal experiences, emotions, and thoughts. Since the journal is handed at the end of each year of training Include only personal information that you are comfortable sharing with the instructor.

• A final project in the form of a paper or art project is required at the end of the first year.

• A final video of your work with a client is required two weeks prior to graduation.

• Because personal information is shared during the training, confidentiality is required.

Twelve personal  core energetics sessions with a certified Core therapist are required for each training year.
